We have a beautiful young calico, Honey, who needs a new home. We are moving out of state, and our new landlord won't permit us to bring her.
Honey is 18 months old. She is a wild child, getting into all sorts of mischief. She nibbles and climbs leg when wanting attention. She loves being held like a baby. She is very cuddly. We've had her for about 9 months.
Honey hasn't shown much interest in our toddler; she posed zero danger to her, though sometimes she was a bit too eager in trying to steal goldfish crackers.
She was compatible with our 3 other cats; the youngest of those 3, a little older than Honey, loved having the playmate, and the other 2 while being somewhat grumpy old men didn't have real problems with her.
We do not know how she would do with other animals; we only have cats.
Honey was around 8lbs. as of her last vet visit this past Spring. She is up-to-date on vaccinations, and she has no medical issues. We fed her a mix of Hill's Science wet and dry foods, she seemed to like both more-or-less equally (her brothers on the other hand all vastly preferred dry). As stated earlier, she is also interested in some human snacks, so be aware of that when eating around her.
Honey didn't have very loving previous owners, and we want to prevent that from happening again. We'll miss her dearly, and we want to move knowing she won't be left wanting. Please only consider adopting her if you can give her the love and attention she needs.
We will include a carrier and a few toys as desired.
