---> The only reason why we are rehoming him is that we are expecting a baby; the breed was originally bred to hunt rats, so some bull terriers still exhibit a prey drive characteristic; Our vet and an animal behaviorist recommended that we rehome him with no small children or small pets for this reason. He gets along with most large dogs and older teenagers. He requires an Alpha owner that has experience working with high-energy breeds. He will thrive with structure, lots of activities, and an experienced, loving owner! He LOVES people and gets along with some medium to larger dogs. If you do have other dogs, his high-energy personality would be best matched with a low-energy, calm dog.
---> Fully up to date on vaccinations, neutered, house trained, and knows his sit, stay, down, shake paw, and break. We are currently working on walking and door manners. He has done wonderfully on medication to treat generalized anxiety, which has helped him excel in his training. He would do best with a veteran or someone who can be his pack leader!
We are willing to drive him anywhere in Michigan or Ohio if it seems to be a good fit. Price is negotiable. He needs to go to a SAFE, loving home.
We will need to interview each applicant.
