Adult full blooded Blue Heeler. Good dog!

Name is Axel. 10 years old, neutered,  shots and rabies shots, wS my Dad's dog but had to be put in a memory home and can no longer care for him.  He loves people and attention,  doesn't like anyone to get down in his face he will growl at you, loves truck rides  he stays in the house but loves being outside also.we want to travel some and don't have a place to keep him. He is ok with kids as long as they don't get in his face. He gets along with other dogs as long as the don't snip at him. Dad took him to the dog park a lot. Weighs about 70 lbs. Is over weight. Has medium hair and my vacuum is full daily. He eats dry dog food(purina) and one can of dog food in the am. Will stare at you and when asked if need to go outside wags his tail when to go outside to poty, he is a good dog. He has been with us for 3 years with Dad but I want to travel otherwise I would keep him
