I adopted Hecate from a rescue shelter 3 years ago. She's very affectionate and likes a good neck rub, but is usually quiet and shy, preferring to sit by the window or just sleep or meditate. But she's very fussy and vocal about her food. (see below)
I enjoy her companionship, but I've come down with a progressive degenerative neurological disorder which is making it harder to function on my own, or to care for a cat. And I don't want to return her to the shelter. So I'm seeking a new home for her, hopefully a family who can give her lots of attention. I don't know how well she'd take to other pets.
She's strictly an indoor cat and has not been exposed to diseases from wild or other animals. So her shots should still be good.
She can only eat soft, canned cat food, such as Blue Buffalo's Blissful Belly, for cats with digestive issues. She also gets kidney and potassium supplements and pills for hyperthyroidism, common with aging cats. (The vet thinks she's about 12.)
