Standard poodles in general, and Louie and Lady specifically, are amazing family dogs. Loyal to their people and incredibly patient with children. Their eagerness to please combined with their extreme intelligence made them super easy to train. They have moderate energy levels so they are playful when we want to play but they mellow right out when we want to relax. They are protective, always keeping a watchful eye on the kids and house. They have the goofiest personalities and make us laugh all the time! And we love how customizable their haircuts are! In all the time I’ve had Standards, I’ve never had to take them to the vet for a sick visit… standard poodles have very few health risks / issues!
- For an easier transition to their new home, puppies will come with a blanket with scents of mom and litter mates, collar, and small bag of starter food.
- Visits or video calls to meet mom, dad, and puppies are welcome and encouraged. I am happy to provide more pictures of mom and dad upon request. Accepting deposits now 😊
