He love’s attention but is very timid and nervous with newcomers. I want to stress this to anyone interested. He is very protective of me. So anyone who comes around, he immediately goes into defense mode. With my disabilities, I did not take him out to public places often. So his current state is not his fault. So it will take the right person some time and training for him to become used to you. I don’t want him being taken to a shelter or to be given away to anyone who won’t love and care for him. He’s worth too much to me. Once he does see that he can trust you, he is the most loving and affectionate dog you’ll ever have. He truly is a gentle giant. He’s just protecting what he loves.
