Maia was bred and born in Texas then joined us in New York at 8 weeks old. Her pedigree is exceptional and bred by foundation working line kennels. Famous dogs such as Certik Bertik, winner of the Most Versatile Australian Shepherd award in 2006 - 2009, and the most titled Australian Shepherd in history, are close relatives.
Maia is sweet and sass. She is an awesome Frisbee, fetch, and retrieve dog. At the end of the day, she loves being pampered and spoiled with attention. She is strong willed yet sensitive.
She is started on ducks, sheep, and cattle with her 1st ASCA trial set for October 2023.
Maia would make an excellent addition to a homestead, hobby farm, active novice home, or someone interested in pursuing recreational herding or disc dog lessons.
Maia is currently located in Kentucky on Herding Board & Train.
We're more than happy to bring her back to New York for East Coast placement.
