Free 4 yr old pure German Shepherd

Pompeo was previously owned by a family member that had him fixed,  vaccinated,  and chipped.   They moved from a large ranch to a small studio and were going to put him to sleep because of this.   My parents felt pity for him and so they took him in.  However,  my parents are elderly and on a fixed income.   They also cannot let Pompeo roam free around the yard,  as he has killed most of their chickens.   Pompeo is also too large and strong for my parents to be able to walk him.   

I'm not sure how much Pompeo weighs or how tall he is,  but he is very large.   

He doesn't seem to be aggressive at all,  and he is very intelligent.  He is very playful as well. 

 We would just like him to be adopted by someone that can give him the care he deserves.
