Free Husky

We are looking for a good home for our 2 1/2 year-old husky, named Niko. He’s a very friendly and energetic dog, not prone to barking needlessly, and never bites. He looks like a dog for home defense, but he's more likely to want to make friends with an intruder. Our teenagers on the verge of adulthood have busy schedules that have become incompatible with their taking care of him, and he seems sad without playmates and regular exercise. He needs either a very large yard or someone willing to take him on a walk at least once a day. He likes to play fetch and is very good with other dogs as well. He is also fixed and has received all his shots. (We'd be happy to give you a leash, whatever food we have left, and a couple pet bowls and brushes.)
