It is absolutely crucial that my new family understands these needs to ensure a safe environment for everyone:
Defensive Bite Risk (Pain-Induced): Fushi will bite defensively if he is accidentally hurt or experiences sudden physical pain (e.g., if you step on his paw or startle him while touching him). His new owners must be highly vigilant and approach all handling with extreme caution.
Strict Diet & Management: Fushi is on a strict diet, but he relentlessly seeks and eats any unsecured food (including human food and trash). His home must have a plan for securing all food items 24/7 to protect his health.
No Other Animals: I am not safe around any other pets (dogs, cats, small animals, etc.). I need to be the only animal in the home.
Leash Management Required: I am strong! I tug hard and can get overly excited and pull significantly when I spot other dogs. My new owner must be physically able and committed to continued training.
🏡 What Fushi Needs in a Forever Home
Experienced, Adult-Only Home is Essential: Due to my defensive bite risk and complex behavioral needs, this home must have owners with experience managing strong dogs with significant safety issues. No children or frequent child visitors are recommended.
Secure Fencing is a Must: I require a securely fenced yard—a high fence is best—to keep me safe during outdoor play.
Reason for Rehoming: This difficult decision is due to my complex behavioral and safety challenges, which require a specialized, single-pet home that my current family is sadly unable to provide.
