We have 5 puppies, and we seek new loving attentive forever homes for them.
All of our dogs have been carefully attended, and fed with high quality Kibble (usually either Nutrisource or Fromm).
This excellent diet keeps their coats vibrant and soft. They are healthy, energetic, and thriving.
The current asking price is 900, but I am willing to negotiate in order to ensure they get to a good home.
They were born on April 10, 2021 making them about 13 weeks old.
We have ensured they remain healthy and, during their 3 appointments with our Veterinarian, have had all of their proper vaccinations.
They received their first 3 vaccinations already (documentation will be provided).
They are all free of parasites or illness of any type.
I have included photos of the Sire and Dame at the end of the picture roll.
The Sire is a 50:50 Shepherd-Husky mix; Amun-Ra is a focused, quiet, self-assured adult male, who has a great temperament. He is not pushy or aggressive. He respects the space of humans, is calm, and enjoys meeting new people.
The Dame is a purebred working line German Shepherd, her name is Raet. Raet is an extremely affectionate, friendly, confident companion when it comes to people she trusts. She is always aware of everything around her. She is attentive to commands and responds properly. Raet, being a German Police-line Dog, is somewhat cautious of strangers, watching them carefully.
These are mixed breed puppies and not purebreds so they will not have papers.
Genetic testing has been done to ensure that the Dame is not at risk of any recessive disorders.
We are currently waiting on results for the Sire but can provide them when they arrive if you so desire.
Neither of the parents have had any major health issues however they both do posses a rather high prey drive.
The puppies are all extremely well socialized, and we have almost completed house-breaking training with them.
They are all really sweet and each has their own unique personality which I will describe below.
Amara is the first puppy pictured. She has a dark blue collar and dark grey coat. Her ears are now standing up. Amara was the second to be born, and weighs 29.1 lbs. Named for her loving nature and the small heart-shaped white spot on her chest, Amara is known for happily running over to greet whoever enters the room. She gets quiet after playtime, and is very focused and affectionate when not cavorting with her pack.
Colorado is the next puppy pictured. She was the first born has a striking red coat. She used to wear a pink collar but has since outgrown it and now wears a tan collar. Colorado is a rather big girl weighing in at 35.1 lbs and is happy to tussle with her siblings. Out of the females Colorado has the most energy, and loves to run. Individually she likes feeling she is special to you. Often she will wander over and lay down close by, appraising you with those big warm eyes.
Doc is a male and is wearing the black collar. Doc has a darker coat with interesting highlights. Doc is a very inquisitive and focused pup and weighs in at 34.4 lbs. He used to be the most rambunctious of all the puppies, but, like his siblings, has become much calmer and he simply loves attention. Doc is usually the first one up and the last one to go to sleep.
Lobo is next, the sweet girl with the pink leather collar. Lobo is the most affectionate, and laid back of the puppies. She will melt your heart with her soulful eyes. Attentive and focused when given the chance, she prefers to stick close to people rather than wrestle with her siblings. Lobo has previously experienced some stomach upset, when her diet changed from newborn nursing through more mature feedings. This was resolved after we followed the suggestion of our veterinarian and added a small amount of pumpkin puree to her food. Since doing so she has grown to be the biggest of the puppies at 39.1 lbs.
Shadow, pictured last, has the most distinct coat pattern with her dark velvety fur. Shadow was the tiniest puppy, and currently weighs 27.6 lbs. Nobody can predict her final weight, and whatever it turns out to be, she will be a treasure with her delightful joyous spirit. She is a spunky little trickster, she gets a little shy around strangers but is very affectionate to those she knows. Shadow loves to run, and refuses to let any of the other puppies push her around. On her first visit to the vet there was some worry that she may have a very small umbilical hernia, but that, due to it's diminutive size, it should not pose a problem, recommending that it be further examined when she eventually goes to be spayed.
We want to be certain that these puppies go to good homes, so there is some basic paperwork prospective buyers will have to fill out.
We need to be assured that these puppies always will have somewhere to belong, with family who will love and care for them.
Please contact us to arrange an in-home visit so you may meet the parents and the puppies!
We have all been fully vaccinated against Covid-19, but we do request that individuals who are currently ill, postpone in-person meetings.
