I originally got them from another seller on here awhile back. Unfortunately I’ll be moving for work in the future and can’t take them with me. They have a large, double door cage with two feeding latch doors on each side (4 in total) the dimensions are 46”x61”x23”. There is a sheet of plywood in between the two halves which can easily be removed. It’s powder coated and super easy to clean. The bottom grates slide out on each side and have a catch tray beneath the grates. Everything has locks and is secure.
Greg is a sweet conure. He still is timid around hands, but will fly to you and sit on your shoulder to see what you’re doing. He’s very curious. He loves his berries and doesn’t seem to be a picky eater with much. He’s pecked, but never bitten me.
Vivian is a very sweet bird once she lets her guard down and get comfortable. She knows how to step up and is VERY food motivated. She will do just about anything for a treat. She doesn’t like to fly much, but lately has been flapping around and gliding for a little bit if she gets excited enough. She also loves her berries and all types of food. She’s not a big fan of strawberries, but will eat them if that’s what she gets. She can be a little cranky in the mornings before food and likes to assert her dominance over Greg for her spot on the top of the cage. But she settles down throughout the day. Vivian is more aggressive than Greg and has bit me several times if I try to get around her when she doesn’t want to be near me. Nothing major, but has broken skin, so I wouldn’t recommend a small child trying to hold her. She does however step up and sit on your shoulder when she’s not having a fit.
Both of them are very intelligent and can be taught anything. They like to spend time cuddling each other and preening one another and bathing together. I do have the divider to separate the cages for eating and treats since like I said Vivian is very food motivated and I want to make sure Greg gets to eat his food and snacks as well before big old Vivian finishes it all. They both are on a Roudybush pelleted diet with daily fruits/veggies/seeds/nuts.
