One minute she thinks she's a lap dog but will lay down her life to do her instinctive guard dog duties in a second. She's patient & senses when one's not feeling well. If you're in bed for 2 days, she's in her bed by your side for 2 days & doesn't care to be let out or fed. My mom adopted her 3yrs ago & we've learned how protective she is of CHILDREN. She was fine with my dog but when my now 3yo niece was born, it was a done deal! She attacks my [male Staffordshire Siberian Husky Mix] whenever my niece's here & can hold her own fighting (yet we know she can't win) to the point they must stay separated. (Since my nephew lives with us & my mom has health issues, they're separated daily.) She no longer trusts my dog around ANY children & I realize it's because he's sneaky 😬.
She doesn't like conversations that seem argumentative or when children are being chastised. She comes to stand next to the child or between whoever's talking loudly- not aggressively but as a distraction. She loves children & can be very gentle when she's not hyped-up or being motherly. She's prevented my niece (baby at the time) from falling off the bed & stood in-between our Cario Cabinet to keep my niece (who was learning to walk) from reaching the cabinet (would've fallen over on them) door. In the same, she doesn't realize her size/weight & knocks my now 3yo niece down just running to give a kiss, playing, or zoomies. I'd say she's better suited for children at least 6+yo depending on their size only because she doesn't realize toddlers can't withstand her fat self bumping into them. As she's short & stout, I call her "Chunky"😂, my mom calls her "BEAUTIFULL" Fatty" or "Samantha" when playing or she's bothering something.
She loves car rides, is house-trained ie., LIVES IN THE HOUSE- NEVER BEEN IN A CRATE, can't tolerate extreme heat or cold, a great guard dog (her bark sounds like a huge male dog😭), & Very Independent... but INQUISITIVELY VERY NOSEY 😂. She must see/check/keep watch on SOMETHING IF NOT EVERYTHING... a fly isn't supposed to fly & she'll do her damnedest to catch it💀. She picked up a frog to throw it away from my niece & nephew, & it released toxic venom, so we had to flush her mouth for 10 minutes- so yeah, you gotta watch her 😂.
If YOU didn't bring or let someone in your yard or house, they're NOT welcome, especially if she doesn't know them😂🤣😭. I can go on but feel free to ask questions if there are concerns.

**She's good playing with other dogs OUTSIDE if introduced in a neutral area. I think it's best to include household children with introductions to other dogs. As things were fine until my niece was born, I don't believe she'd react to other dogs but we prefer her to be the only dog, or only big dog in the home...

**Her breed is NOT on ANY lists for banned dogs.... She'd easily qualify for ESA Status...
All of her "personal belongings" 😂 are included as she LOVES BATHS!!! A stall shower with a handheld sprayer works best & she's use to baths EVERY OTHER WEEK (every week will cause dry itchy skin), her blankets & bed (has removable fillings) washed weekly. AND she will make sure you remember by bugging you & everyone else to scratch her, rolling around in the yard, &/or will LITERALLY push on or sit in front of the Shower Door with that resting BYTCH face 😁😂🤣🫣.
I've also included a link to read before simply judging by her looks without knowing her "Type" Breed. Bulldogs are NOT Pit Bulls & have a different Temperament which is another reason she (isn't on Ban Lists) doesn't like my dog. I can honestly say she actually fits 90% of the bill for everything we read to understand her/her breed. We just want her to be happy, able to be her BEAUTIFULL self in a loving home where she can freely roam as she should, & interact with everyone without restraint.
