I adopted Logan from the Oakland County Shelter in late February. They told me that he was found wandering the streets in Pontiac. Logan is the sweetest, most loving dog I've ever owned. He would love to be a lap dog but he weighs 80 lbs so lap time is limited. :) Logan is 3 years old, and needs exercise. I have recently had a physical issue that does not allow me to take Logan for walks, that's not good. Logan is totally vaccinated, neutered and chipped. I feed Logan "Rachel Ray Nutrish", salmon and give him Omega 3 supplements for his coat.
Logan is potty trained completely, crate trained (it's large and comfy), he knows his commands, and walks well, and he listens well.
He is not good around small children, age 12 or older is best. And he needs socialization when it comes to other animals. I do not take him to the dog park, he needs more training in this area, but can walk by them while on his leash. I really feel that he would love to make friends. Our yard backs up to a dog park and he has his favorites he sees there. He runs back and forth in his yard, barking and wagging his tail like he is playing.
A fenced in yard is a must for him.
He likes car rides, and pup-cups (I make my own at home), he loves frozen peanut butter in his Kong for a treat, and likes to play catch.
I would and could keep Logan except for not being able to exercise him. It's not fair to him, he needs someone younger and better fit than myself.
His crate and bed come with him.
If you are looking for the best friend you've ever had, Logan is him!
