We love our boy but he needs a home where he can get out and run. He’s very energetic. We don’t have a big yard and he needs someone who maybe lives on a farm that will give him purpose. Someone who will take time with him, let him ride and be your best friend. We feel we are holding him back from his natural born potential. He’s Going through the puppy chewing stage. And he “herds” everything. Me. The hubby. Our other dogs. (He loves his deer antlers and chew toys). Crate trained for night sleeping. Stays inside with us. Loves to ride and EAT! 🤭 Very protective. Likes to snuggle. BUT…He’s driving our older dogs crazy. 😜 It’s caused a disruption in our home since all 3 of our pets stay indoors. 🤦🏼♀️ They all get along but Scooter is much more active and they’re not.
The problem: it’s causing our old male heeler to want to “mark his territory” in our house. He’s NEVER been one to do this. Always has went out and trained early to go outside when he was young.
Long story short. My husband should’ve listened to the wife when I told him it wasn’t a good idea to get another dog.
We know things.😬
Details: he’s an Australian Cattle Dog AKA-chocolate heeler. 6 months old. Bought him from a very reputable lady that has raised many heelers. We aren’t asking for money. Just a good home where he won’t be forgot in a few months and left unloved.
If we can’t confirm you’ll be a good owner, we’ll keep him. We aren’t about dumping our animals on just anyone. We just want what’s best for him and us.
Up to date on shots and recently wormed.
If you or someone you know could meet his needs, please message me. We’re willing to meet, let you get to know him or whatever it takes for him and you to be happy.
Thanks for any help in this matter.
