All the rabbits have been raised indoors without outdoor playtime almost every day. They are from a household with children, and they are gentle and calm with young ones. Like all rabbits, they can kick a little when they are nervous, so it's best to have an adult help young children get the rabbits out, but then they're all happy to sit on a lap and be petted and loved. Angora rabbits need their fur brushed at least a couple of times per month, but it's fun to do, and they are all used to it.
These two siblings were born on June 27, 2025. They are good litter box users. They are not spayed/neutered. If you want to adopt both Stormy & Pika, you would need to either keep them separate all the time or get at least Pika neutered.
If you are a spinner or fiber artist, these bunnies can be a great source of English-quality fiber with nice crimp, interesting colors, and good length. If you're not a fiber artist, send the fiber back to me! ;-) It also makes a good garden mulch and might be effective against slugs. (best applied in less visible areas)
-Pika is a Vienna-marked chestnut adolescent buck. He was well-named, as he really does look a bit like a Pika (which are also in the Lagomorph family!) His fur is golden-orange and black with a white blaze on his head, a splash of white down his nose and mouth, one white foot, and steel blue eyes. He has the French Angora head type. Excellent rufus. Pika is a sweet and laid-back little guy who is very friendly and curious.
-Stormy is a Vienna-marked blue steel doe. She loves being petted and will request lots of attention, though she's also happy to be an independent girl. She's fast and athletic when she gets to run outside, but will also sit calmly for her hair to be brushed or nails to be trimmed.
We know it might take quite some time to find the right home for these little loves, and we're not in a rush. We will keep this post updated.
Happy to meet you anywhere in Longmont.
