November 5 update: there are 2 puppies still needing homes. One male and one female. Both very sweet.
***UPDATE: DNA says German Shepherd/Shiloh Shepherd and Sighthound***Virtue is taking care of a litter of 9 healthy and robust mystery pups. Their mom, by all appearances, is a German Shepherd, an absolute sweetheart, great with everyone, calm and kind, but their sire or sires is/are anybody's guess. Mom has a home waiting after puppies leave, but the puppies will need homes in 6 weeks. Puppies are either black and tan or black and white.
Mother is so lovely (gets along with all people of all ages and all other animals- just a gem of a dog!) that we expect they'll make fabulous pets regardless of DNA.
We're guessing mature weights around 45-60lbs (puppies are the size of GSD pups, but they are clearly not purebred, so there will likely be variation in size as they mature). Coat is unknown at this point.
Puppies will be vaccinated and microchipped and will be adopted out on a contract for their protection.
Please inquire for more photos. They may go home after July 18, 2023. They will go home with a bag of Virtue K-9 Octane.
