Quintus the black male (special needs dog) – DOB 26 May 2018 – He was bred by Sptisvuur Boerboels out of South Africa out of Spitsvuur BBD Bentley (m) and Spitsvuur BBD Quincy (f).
Both dogs have been “basic” trained IE sit stay leave it wait NO (to whatever applies) come lead with prong as well as e (for re enforcing the verbal command or silent recall) kennel potty area outside feeding etiquette as well as NO JUMP (that should be for obvious reasons). He is not very verbal and only will alert if and only if there is a threat in the immediate vicinity.
All of our adult friends who have had contact with him love him for his calm demeanor.
Quintus cannot tolerate any chaos, in the form of any type of yelling/disciplining, kids playing loud or near him as well as other obnoxiousness animals. He shuts down and becomes very untrustworthy of humans.
He is a great dog to the right people who understand special needs dogs like this. NO KIDS, NO chaotic animals, especially ones that are constantly getting reprimanded, in an otherwise calm environment he will do fine.
NO KIDS, NO KIDS, NO CHAOS, NO CONSTANTLY REPRIMANDED ANIMALS. He does not nor has he ever just “attacked” any person or animal so this paragraph is not to be misconstrued.
