Were do I begin.....

Melo is a 10 month old male puppy with an amazing personality who is loving, caring, compassionate, and so much more. As they say "a picture paints 1,000 words", so all I can say is you have to experience for your self. He is a small sized breed having all brown fur with white going down his nose and from the bottom of his chin down his chest/stomach, and slightly on his back paws. Melo is potty trained, meal trained, and crate trained listening very well to all commands given. When going outside he is trained not to bark at other animals, dogs, children, or people being a very energetic, loving, playful, & caring puppy. One thing I am also learning about him is that he is very aware, observant, and loyal always wanting to be by your side knowing your OK. I started my ad description how I did so you can get an idea of who Melo really is, finishing off with were and what he came from, and got through overcoming his past. So I already knew Melo prior to taking him in babysitting him as a 4 month old puppy for 2 weeks. After returning him a few months later I found out he was being given to a family I know has abused animals before so I reached out asking them if I could purchase him stating I was looking for a puppy like him. They sold him to me for $4000, bringing him home I noticed now at 9 months old he was very shaky, jumpy, looking down at the ground and very scared acting when I would even just lift or put my hand up or down to give him some affection or pet him. After a week & ah half or so he began getting more comfortable warming up to me, realizing he was in a new safe environment not having to worry about whatever he was going through before. Ever since then he has grown to be playful and loving still working on the scared jumpy behavior but it wasn't as bad as it was in the beginning. I'm ready to start back with a very busy schedule between working and school so the time and effort I would want to have for Melo I just don't, and I don't want to feel neglectful or like he isn't getting enough attention or love. On top of having severe OCD its not been easy dealing with so far but I have manged, but overall I am seeking a loving family interested in taking in more than just a pet but a child/family member, most importantly giving him a place he can call home!
