Brenda has been part of our pack since 2022 and she is quite loving.  Her back story is what hooked us... She came from A home with a mom who was in A awesome Sr. living facility in Renton WA. and unfortunately there was also a McDonalds in that parking lot so Brenda's daily lunch snack was chicken nuggets.  When her mom passed (we believe her name was previously Penny) she went to a local rescue called Motley Zoo where we fostered, then adopted Penny-Brenda along with her ailments that were caused by eating fast food and having no exercise.  Since we've had her in our lives she travels very well between the PNW & our home in SoCal.  She's dropped alot of weight and no longer requires her collides medications.  She's quite loving and enjoys being a true (oversized) lapdog which makes our other dogs pretty angry - jealous.   But what we've learned is that she is a social butterfly and gets along with any human (adult, male - female, kids & most all dogs at the park (unless a female dog thats not fixed is in the area then its gloves off),  however she does not like other female dogs and she does not like the groomer to cut her bangs or toenails without heavy sedation.  We need Brenda to go to a home where she can be the only fur child as the risk of her attacking another dog is too great. She now loves her NutriSource small breed food and the occasional carrots, milk bone mini's or a pupachino. She will follow you in the yard with unwavering love and affection.  She does very rarely like toys but for the most part ignores them, she likes walks but not with a leash.  So a large yard would likely be best.  Unfortunately at our new home were just in too close of quarters with a small yorkie who has seizures and cannot get fixed and Brenda and her have recently started becoming aggressive with one another. She is fixed, crate trained, and up to date on her shots, house broken and will come with her crate.
