It’s really killing us to do this, but the reason we are rehoming her is because my wife has many health issues and her pulmonologist says she needs to be rehomed as she is our only dog that has fur and sheds.
Bella is a slender 36 lbs and stands 21” at the shoulders. Not as energetic like you might expect for her breed, but does enjoy a good walk or run. When doing so, she really, really wants to be walking on the side of the road facing on-coming cars for some reason. She’s a bit timid on busy streets. And, after you take her on a specific route, she’ll lead the way the next time in case you forget :)
Bella is a shy girl at first, but will come around quickly. Loves belly rubs and will fall asleep next to you while having her ears stroked. She typically sleeps on a dog bed on the floor next to the bed, but sometimes will jump up and lay against you. If you don’t like this, a simple nudge will send her back to the floor. Eventually she’ll stop. She’s a smart cookie. And, if you don’t mind this behavior, she’s a good snuggle buddy and might ask to be covered up.
You’ll find she gets a little spooked by high pitch tones (electronic beeps), like when the smoke detectors let you know to change the batteries.
If you take her and for any reason change your mind, we would definitely take her back in a heartbeat and try to find another home, but we know you’ll love her immediately!
