Young Mexican Dog

Guapa was a rescue from Southern Baja Mexico and is under 2 years old.  Due to physical problems on my part, I can't give her the exercise and training she needs and deserves.  She weighs about 45# and stands about 17" tall at the shoulders; has a short coat, which is very smooth, and doesn't shed a lot; brown, white, grey and black -- some call it "brindle."  She likes being in water but doesn't show interest in swimming, and she dries quickly.  When seeing children for the first time, she can be shy but warms up quickly, and she's VERY sociable to adults and other dogs (unknown around cats).  She's most affectionate: lots of kisses, wants to cuddle next to me when I watch TV and when I sleep.  Her health is excellent, is current on all vaccinations, is neutered and chipped, and is fed twice a day (1 cup each time of Blue Buffalo Lamb & Rice, plus 1/2 Milk Bone, a rawhide chew in the morning).  She walks nicely on lead, knows how to sit on verbal and hand signal.  What she needs: regular exercise (enjoys off leash dog parks where she can interact with other dogs and humans), a yard which is fenced (not with wire or chain link, because she can climb) or a tie out, house training (knows how to use a doggy door, but my property has a wire fence so I can't simply let her free to use it), and love.
