Introduction

Howdy! I would like to introduce myself. I'm Aida and I have 20 plus years of experience in breeding Lhasa Apsos. I received my first Shihtzu in 1999 and my first Lhasa in 2000. I fell in love with the Lhasa breed more than the shih tzu. They are amazing lovable dogs and despite their size, they are great protectors and wonderful family dogs. Their high maintenance care does best with mature folks but they are so fun to brush, dress up and make them look like a toy at any age. My females are well taken care of even prior to breeding. They are part of my family and will be until they die. They are not puppy machines and will only have a limited amount of pets litters. They are fed high quality food and during their pregnancy are fed chicken, liver, eggs and veggies along other things and given LOTS of extra love. During the last few weeks of pregnancy they see our vet to insure how many puppies we will be expecting. This is important as we don't want there to be a stuck puppy that could cause mom serious health conditions and even death. My dogs have a large backyard with lots of activities to keep them busy. Naturally, they are fancy dogs and are kept indoors and sleep on a purple velvet couch with white fluffy pillows that I sometimes can't tell which is which. Is that necessary? NOT AT ALL. The couch used to be mine hahaha and they took possession of it. My puppies have a whelping area and a raising area. Puppies are kept away from adult dogs at all times. Parvo in Arizona is very serious and in the blink of an eye can lose our entire litter. Therefore, there are many steps in place to ensure puppies are not contaminated. They are kept in their own temperature controlled room with lots of toys, plenty of food and water, sun and occasionally music. I have children in my home and they are socialized with adults as well as children. They also go through a weekly grooming of bath, nail trimming, clipper machine to acclimate them to their life of grooming. They go through a private area trim to keep those areas free of debris and poop. They also get their paws trimmed. My family spends quality one on one time with each puppy. They receive vaccines, deworming and ensure they are eating solid food and have most of their teeth before they are ready for a new furever home. You are always welcome to my home to see the parents and to spend as much time is necessary to make sure my puppy is the right puppy for you, your family and other pets. I take it a step further and allow a small refundable deposit to let you go home and think about it up to 3 days in the event you are not 100% sure my puppy is the right one. This is a life time commitment of about 15+ years. My 1st Lhasa lived to be 17. So I like to ensure puppy will be loved and cared for and there's no doubt they are the one. I look forward to your visit and please let me know if you have further questions.
