Ad Guidelines

1. Ads & Accounts

• Each ad requires a unique title and photo.
• Only one ad per pet, service, or search is allowed.
• Pets must be listed in their current location.
• Listed pets must be currently available.

Not Permitted and Considered SPAM

• Duplicate ads for the same pet or purpose.
• Deleting and reposting ads for advantage.
• Ads listed in multiple locations (states).
• Same ads listed across multiple accounts.
• Multiple accounts for the same user or business.
• Deleting and recreating accounts for advantage.

2. Content Rules

• Be honest (no false statements, no omission).
• No mispricing (for example: Free, $1, or $0 when there is a fee).
• No sick pets unless explicitly stated.
• Only supported ad topics are allowed.
• Only English, grammatically correct content is allowed.
• No URLs, domains, phone numbers, or emails in ad titles.
• No links or promotion of competing websites/apps.
• No low-quality ads with zero information.
• No affiliate marketing.
• No fundraising.
• No pets located abroad.
• No listing of protected species.
• Compliance with local laws is required.

3. Image Rules

• One clear image is required (no blur, distortion, or screenshots).
• Pet listings require a quality pet picture (clear, well-lit, and showing the complete pet).
• No text, color markings, logos, or icons on the first picture (thumbnail).
• No visible genitals on the first picture.
• No stock photos or stolen images.
• No pictures of children.
• No AI-generated images.

4. Violation Consequences

• Ad rejection.
• Ad removal.

5. Immediate Suspension Triggers

Actions that may lead to immediate account suspension include:

• Posting ads in multiple locations (states).
• Posting the same ad across multiple accounts.
• Operating multiple accounts.
• Fundraising.
• Advertising pets located abroad.
• Pretending stolen photos show the listed pet.
• Advertising protected species.
• Posting ads on non-pet-related topics.
