Meet Dottie! She was rescued 8 months ago from the Dallas Animal Shelter. She has loved getting to be in a home with our other dog and cat, but she would much rather prefer to have someone who is home more frequently. My wife and I both work full-time, so it is tough for her to get enough playtime/walks. 

We did not get any information as to what the first 10 months of her life was like (before the rescue), but I believe it led her to be a bit nervous when meeting people. Someone who has a calm demeanor and understanding of social cues with dogs would be perfect. With other dogs, she has been great! She loves to run around in the yard and play!

Due to her sometimes being nervous, I would not recommend her in a home with young kids.
