I have an unfixed 1 year old male lab/pit mix, that came from an accidental litter after our male dog broke open the kennel and got our female while my husband was in the shower. We have not been able to afford to vet him or get him fixed and didn’t expect to have him still. He is good around his parents which are larger dogs both being about 60lbs. He has only been around our son kid wise who is 12 so I am not sure how he would be with small kids. He would be a great protector of a home as his dad is. He is always happy and just wants to be able to play and run around. We don’t have strangers or friends around our house so I am also not sure how he would do in those situations. When he sees our neighbors while being walked outside he doesn’t react or bark if that gives any sort of indication. He’s okay with cats and likes to chase them but has never bitten or been mean to any of the strays.
