We are seeking a responsible, permanent home for our 11-year-old Yorkie/Schnauzer mix. We are relocating and our new living situation does not permit pets, so we need to place him with someone who can provide a stable long-term home.
He is a small dog (under 25 lbs), white and brown. He is house-trained and has no major health issues. He has an occasional cough that only appears when he is very excited or playing hard; it does not affect him at rest or during normal activity.
He has a balanced personality. He enjoys playtime and can be quite energetic and jumpy at times, but he is equally content to rest and sleep for long periods. He is affectionate, enjoys cuddling on the couch, and settles well once relaxed.
We are only considering serious inquiries from people prepared to give a senior dog a consistent, caring home. Photos and additional details will be shared with genuine interested parties after initial contact. We prefer to arrange a meet-and-greet so both sides can determine if it is a good match.
