We are looking to rehome our 12 week old Lab puppy.
She knows sit, paw, wait & knows what leave it & drop it are however she doesn't always listen to those. She is not house broken yet. She is teething & still nibbling & nipping. She has a small white spot on her chest. I posted a link of a videoshowing a her doing a few tricks...The pictures are of her over the last 2 weeks.
She has received shots & treated for fleas which she had when we received her 2 weeks ago. She is around 21lbs. currently, She is gaining about 2 pounds a week & is likely to be between 65lbs - 75lbs full grown. I have no proof she is purebred so she very possibly could be mixed bit is high content Lab if she is.
She comes with some supplies, like her bed, food, treats, collar/leash & toys. I believe she would enjoy another larger dog to play with. She enjoys ripping grass out by the root, eating it & digging so having a yard & a fence would be an asset.
I will be asking a re-homing fee to help cover what we spent taking care of her & that she be a indoor dog. Priority will be given to someone with a yard & another dog over 40lbs
She has ignores our bird & gets along with one of our 2 cats, the other she chases half the time & also can be found cuddling on the sofa with her, so she is friendly but just doesn't understand the cat isn't playing chase but that has shown a lot of improvement in the short time we have had her. Besides the normal scratches & nibbles, she gets along great with my pre-teen daughter. I haven't seen any sign of aggression with her just rambunctious puppy play.
She does not have the personality to be a service dog, she wants to be a pet, she wants to be social & play rather then focus on her handler completely, so in short a normal puppy. She sometimes sleep with her tongue sticking out.
She loves pup-cups & being on your lap & wants to sleep in bed but will accept having her bed close to you or bed instead.. She has no fear of roads, people or other dogs so please keep her leashed, even better if you don't live in the city on a busy road. She does not understand that shoes are not chew toys but she will stop if you tell her no or go to bed & totally does the guilty dog look when she's caught.
Being the only adult in the household, I really don't have any other option as I can't care for her if I will be in & out of medical care...so long story short my loss is someone's gain, & the timing of this could not be any worse but she is a good girl & deserves stability & I am just trying to do what is best for her in this crappy situation.
