Description
Posted 25 Nov 20253 Year old Male Standard Beagle. "Bear" is not fixed, and rather than us fixing him we are going to look for a home that can better meet his needs in terms of space and attention. Bear was gifted to us as a puppy for my disabled son and while we love him, it was a bit tough for him to really get to acclimate and work together. Bear needs a bit more space than our residential neighborhood and attention. My son struggles to bond with him as he gets older and we do not have resources or time to spend time with him as he deserves due to work and other children. Bear is friendly with our family, other small pets, and cats. Bear is low-mid in terms of vocal and barks. Bear is kennel trained. He is a good dog, but unfair if we try to continue working through this situation rather than allowing him to adopt out. We are aware of challenges with owning hound dogs, but we were "surprised" with him so we tried our best. I will answer any other questions anyone may have.
