Scout was rescued as a puppy. The rescue had him labeled as a "lab/pit mix", but we aren't convinced. He has one long strip near his shoulder of semi-long hair. They aren't sure of his exact birthday but he was born around 04/09/2023 (so just turned 3).

He is super fun! He will "talk" to you with howls and barks. He has a little spark and loves to run around and play. He is very well trained as far as basic commands, kennel trained, and can sit on our front porch without leaving it to go greet people or dogs passing by. We have little kids in the house as well as another dog and he does so well with all of them.

He is happy with laying on a dog bed, or our kids beds with them. Whatever you're comfortable with allowing, Scout will LOVE it. He is super easy going.

He would absolutely love to go with a family that has a runner and can run with him, or a house that has ample land to run around. He doesn't need it, but that would be a plus.
