Jinx is a 5yr old black mouth cur. As a puppy she was rescued from a kill shelter in Georgia and transferred to Ohio. We adopted her while she was still a puppy. Unfortunately, Jinx has always had separation anxiety and it seems to be getting worse. When we leave, she does everything she can, including ripping the molding off our wooden door to get out. She recently started having accidents in the house. We tried medication but she stopped eating while on it and lost too much weight. She also has issues with protecting her food. Anytime another of our pets go near her food, bones or toys, her hair stands up and she growls. She is a very sweat lap dog who happens to be 60 lbs. She absolutely loves playing, running and having pool time. She also loves snuggling on the couch and is used to sleeping either on her huge bed or with my daughter in her bed. It hurts to even post this. We’re hoping to find someone who maybe works from home and has no other animals or young kids that wants a companion to be by their side.
