My name is Luca, I’m only 3 years old and I love to play with crinkle balls and stick toys. I am socially awkward with other adult cats and therefore the vet recommended I be the only cat or paired with a young kitten who will accept me for who I am! I would get along with a friendly puppy or dog possibly with the right introduction as I don’t speak cat well. I am well behaved and as long as I have a scratch post I won’t scratch furniture and I don’t jump on counters. I would love a forever home that understands I need space sometimes because I am independent and I’ll come to you when I’m feeling lovable. I would enjoy sitting with someone who’s relaxing as I love to sit on laps especially if there’s a blanket for warmth. I really enjoy crinkle balls being thrown because fetch is my favorite mini game! My only needed requirements are a covered litter box and a water fountain for my water. I also love cat trees and cat towers and I’m grateful for any of those because I actually use them! My only quirk is that don’t like being picked up very much but will allow gentle scoop and move as long as it’s not too quickly as I get a bit frightened. I’m a good boy and I don’t meow very much but I will have an entire conversation with you if you trill back at me! (Luca is a special sweet boy who was almost killed by his cat society (a group of other cats he lived with) he is up to date on all shots and any injuries were tended to by the vet. He is now in perfect health and ready to find a safe home.)
