Meet Georgia – A Sweet Senior Looking for a Peaceful Home Georgia is a 10-year-old American Bulldog / American Pit Bull mix who is looking for a calm, loving home where she can spend her golden years. She is spayed, house trained, and knows basic commands. Georgia is also great on a leash and enjoys short walks followed by long naps. Her personality is the perfect mix of playful and cozy. She still has little bursts of energy and enjoys playing, but she’s mostly a laid-back girl who loves to cuddle up and be wrapped in blankets next to her people. Georgia does very well with kids and people and is comfortable relaxing around the house. She can also stay home by herself for longer periods without any issues. Georgia would do best as the only pet in the home. She does not get along with other dogs or cats and can be food aggressive, so she needs an owner who can give her a calm, structured environment where she doesn’t have to share space or meals with other animals. We are making the difficult decision to rehome her because she has gotten into fights with another dog in our home, and with a 4-month-old baby, we cannot risk dog fights happening in the house. Our goal is simply to find Georgia a safe, quiet home where she can be the only pet and get all the love she deserves. She is a loyal companion who will happily spend her days relaxing, going on short walks, and cuddling with her person.
