North's Story
North is that once in a lifetime dog. His fun personality and goofy facial expressions keep you smiling. He has charisma and charm like no other. North is a rockstar on the field and a snuggler in the house. North points with style and confidence. This dog has a great mind that loves to work and be challenged. North is an exceptional marker, has great line manners and overall steady dog. North has an amazing off switch which makes him a great house dog and therapy dog for the local schools and nursing homes.
We have hunted North in South Dakota for three years now and he has earned his title of “King of the Cattails,” If there is a pheasant in there he will find it. There is no quit in North. Waterfowl? North is quiet in the blind and a retrieving machine. Once you see him he’s hard to get out of your head.
Mickey' Story
Every dog owner hopes their pup will grow into a healthy, loyal, friendly, calm companion. The fact that My Girl McKinley (Mickey) has become that and more for our family is a true blessing. The fact that she has also become an absolute hunting machine makes her a rare and complete dog.
Given Mickey's loaded pedigree, it's not surprising that she sailed through the only four hunt tests she has competed in despite having a rookie trainer like me.
As you can see, Mickey is a stunning red with classic head and body proportions. She hunts at about 68 pounds. We think that Mickey's intense field drive, calm manners in the blind, along with her laid-back, affectionate demeanor around the home will combine perfectly with North's equally impressive field drive, and therapy-dog level personality. If you are looking for outstanding family dogs that make a day in the field or blind a complete joy, these may be a great fit for you and your family!
