I am looking to rehome this stray blue heeler that I caught in my neighborhood three weeks ago. I believe it was dumped (I have posted elsewhere on social media with no response). He appears to be less than one year old (probably around 10 months). He looks healthy but I have not taken him to the vet. I haven't let him in the house and I doubt his is housebroken. He is not trained or well-socialized with people. He is very intelligent and does well on a leash. He can read my instructions and is very playful once he gets to know a person. He doesn't bark much, hasn't been digging holes or making a mess in my backyard, so he is well-behaved overall but not immediately friendly or well-socialized with people. Local animal control won't take him, and none of the animal rescues or shelters I've contacted will take him either. So, now I'm just trying to find him good home. No rehoming fee.
