Juniper "Junie" is a stunning 6-month-old Cane Corso and German Shepherd mix. A combination that makes her as striking as she is smart. She is already built with strong, athletic muscles and a long, expressive tail that never stops wagging. Her big, soft ears can hear the tiniest mouse miles away that stand almost as big as she is. She is truly the best of both breeds.Junie has the best personality and charming characteristics of both her breeds. She is incredibly smart, loyal, and protective. She is super high energy and eager-to-learn and absolutely MUST have a job and be kept exercised both mentally and physically. She is super cuddly, funny/goofy, and loving. With continued guidance and training, Junie will make an INCREDIBLE lifelong companion for someone who understands and loves big, active breeds.
The ideal home for Junie is a home with someone who gives her the time and attention she needs throughout the day. She absolutely has to have a yard so she can run and play. She does well with every dog she's met in her 6 months of life, LOVES to play and has never shown any aggression towards any dog so far. She does best with dogs her size as she is large and "plays hard", but loves dogs of every size. She has a high pray drive and chases cats (probably any small rodent as well), but has done well with a cat in the home and only wants to play with her. She does well with kids, but is mouthy as her breed is, as well as still being a puppy (she likes to "herd").
She definitely needs a very active home and someone familiar with her breed(s) who can continue her training and give her patient guidance. Junie has completed AKC S.T.A.R Puppy training. She has basic commands down pat (sit, lay, shake, place, touch, wait) and is an incredibly fast learner. Junie is unbelievably intelligent and with the right person will absoltely thrive. She is leash trained as well and knows the "crate" command.
