Description
Posted 17 Feb 2026I rescued this lovely abandoned 5-year-old female husky on December 8, 2025. She had no collar, no ID tag, no chip. So far, no one has claimed her on pet lost-and-found sites. I cleaned her up, had the vet check her out, and gave her some quality food. She is now at a healthy weight and full of energy. She loves to go outside, run, and explore. She gets along with other dogs and never barks. She would thrive in a family with plenty of people to give her attention. We are calling her "Freya," but she doesn't respond to that name yet. Freya weighs 47 lbs. She appears to have had a litter but also has a what looks to be a spaying scar. She immediately gets along with all the adults she meets, but I don't know how she would be with children. Freya is very much a pack dog, so if you're looking for a companion for your dog, Freya's a good bet. She does really well with our Pomeranian.
