Puppy history: Completed a 3 week one dose per week (by body weight) veterinarian provided wormer. December 1st veterinary appointment scheduled for 6 week evaluation and initial inoculations. Our inoculations are done with veterinarian administered vaccines. Our vet, Dr.Williams at the animal health care center in sikeston missouri uses a vaccine that provideds 95%+ protection. They do require a booster injection every 3 to 4 weeks until they are 16 weeks old. No feed store pet store vaccine use for our babies. Our vet says those brands are only about 65% effective. One hour old they were provided colostrum gel to stimulate nursing and provide needed antibodies and vitamins for newborns. Plus additional feeding twice a day until they were a week old.
