Luna was rescued as a puppy from a bad situation. She is completely deaf and super smart. We think she is a shepherd/springer spaniel mix. She's currently about 2 years old and weighs around 35 pounds. She has the potential to be a great dog for a loving family. She can be very sweet and loves to cuddle. She has lots of energy and would do great on a fenced property where she has room to run.
She is not comfortable with our other dog and cats, so I think she’d do better in a home with no other pets. She also displays resource guarding at times, but we manage this by keeping our other dog away when we are feeding her.
She understands simple sign language commands and has the potential to be trained further if someone has the time to work with her. She loves playing fetch, and she has a knack for finding the biggest stick possible then carrying it around for hours.
She’s healthy, fully crate trained, spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.
