I’m looking for a loving home for my 13 month old golden retriever pup. I have to relocate and probably can’t take her with me. She needs a fenced in yard with lots of room to run and play. She is happiest with children. She’s still very much like a puppy and is learning to be gentle. She’s 50lbs. She won’t be getting any bigger. She is mouthy when she wants to play. She knows not to bite down but she’s getting better about following commands like ‘no teeth’. She needs lots of bones and chews and patience. My kids love to play with her. She has a sweet nature. She loves kitties but i think she loves them a little too much. So no cats until she’s older. She’ll chase them. She’s shy around other dogs at first, but she warms up to them pretty quickly.
Commands she knows and obeys: sit, lie down, stay(you can take 5 steps back before she gets up), paw, drop it(doesn’t always obey) leave it, Mika Come. Working on quiet.
She’s crate trained. She sleeps in her crate and will spend the day in her crate while I’m at work. I let her stay out if my outing is going to be quick. I hope you will not need to crate her at all once she’s two or three. She is allowed to roam the house freely when I’m home. She is completely house trained. She sometimes rings a bell to go out(I will send that with her) but mostly she will get stand right in front of you and give you a look.
She loves the outdoors. Loves hiking and riding in cars and going places.
She is not spayed yet. She ate a squishy toy dinosaur when she was almost 6 months old and needed surgery so we had to delay spaying her.
She has gone into heat and will get aggressive with strangers if she’s in heat.
***She’s allergic to vaccines and turkey. Just give her a children’s Benadryl 2 hrs before a vaccination and she does well. If she gets turkey on accident just give her a Benadryl. Warning signs she’s having an allergic reaction is: She’ll get the puffy face and itchy hives.
She has grown up in a very loving and playful home. She adores children
I will send with Mika with her crate, bed, toys, water and food bowl, chews and any leftover dog food we still have left. Her leash, bell, nail clippers
She’s microchipped
I have the vet records for her. She’s all up to date on all her shots.
