Meet Lumi! This handsome chocolate merle boy has been raised with intention and love from his very first day. He has grown up in our home alongside an 18-month-old and my 8-year-old brother, and Lumi is definitely my brother’s favorite puppy! He carries Lumi everywhere he goes, and Lumi happily soaks up every bit of attention. He is such a happy little dog whose tail always seems to be wagging.
Lumi also has a beautiful, softer coat that is not extremely tight or kinky, making it more manageable than a very tightly curled Poodle coat. Regular brushing and grooming will still be important, but his looser texture should be easier to maintain.
Both of Lumi’s parents are genetically clear of all breed-relevant Poodle disorders, and his mama, Zuri, has also completed OFA and PennHIP health testing. Zuri is our beloved house dog, and families are welcome to meet her. Lumi is eligible for ICA registration, and registration papers can be provided upon request. I am also happy to share additional information about parents.
Before going home, Lumi will receive a veterinary examination and age-appropriate vaccinations, including NeoPar for early protection against parvovirus. We will also complete a fecal test to check for parasites and make sure the results are clear before he comes home and send preventative deworming medication home with him. His puppy package will include a bag of his current food, a collar, leash and a few additional items to make his transition as smooth as possible.
We would love to remain in contact with Lumi’s family throughout his life and are always available for continued support. I’m happy to schedule a FaceTime call or provide additional photos and videos.
If you are unable to pickup, several transportation options are available. We may be able to meet partway for an additional fee, arrange door-to-door delivery for $500 east of the Mississippi or $600 west of the Mississippi, or coordinate a flight nanny or airline pet-cargo transportation. We’re happy to help find the safest and most convenient way to bring this special little boy home! Lumi turns 8 weeks old on the 4th of October and can go home any day after that, as long as he’s ready!
