Moonpie is a former stray cat. Unfortunately not much is known about her past, but she began visiting our yard and eventually gave birth to her kittens in our yard on 07/29/2025. We brought her and her kittens inside and got her spayed. She’s around 11 lbs. She has medium length hair which is very soft. She’s has gained weight since being in our home while we found her and her kitten forever homes. We have successfully placed her kittens. She loves to explore her environment and to be cuddled. She even used a harness vest with leash. We would keep her but we have our own fur babies. 

Moonpie is believed to be approximately a year and half years old. She is hesitant but once she is comfortable she is incredibly loving. She will head bump your hand for love. She loves to be held and will curl up on your lap.

Moonpie needs to be in a single cat home- no other cats or animals. She had lived on the streets/stray cat for unknown amount of time. She kept herself safe for a couple months and possibly longer. She did this too while pregnant. She had no marks or injuries that we saw. We saw her everyday for over a month and most days the month prior. She struggles to trust animals rightfully so. She apprehensive to humans but once she feels safe she’s one of the most loving and sweet cats. 

She loves humans though and will want so much pets and love. She will snuggle up on the couch and in bed with you.

Moonpie needs a patient, understanding furever family who can give her the time she needs to feel safe and comfortable and come out of her shell.

Moonpie is spayed, microchipped, up to date on her vaccines, and has been treated for worms and fleas. She is NEGATIVE for FIV and FeLV.

Moonpie must be an indoor only cat. Moonpie cannot be declawed.
