Sky is an enthusiastic 3 year old pitbull mix. He is very affectionate and sweet natured. However, if he doesn’t have a strong experienced owner, he has a tendency to push boundaries. He can get possessive over high value bones. However, rubber Kong toys are safe. He will allow you to throw them and he’ll bring it back willingly. He loves to swim, run and chase sticks or balls. I am a dog trainer myself and would be more than happy to offer my services to help Sky get acclimated to his new home. I’d be there every step of the way to give Sky and his new family the best chance of creating a healthy and safe relationship, environment and fit. If for whatever reason it doesn’t work out, we would immediately take Sky back and try again with a more suitable family. However, i believe me and his new potential owners can work together and have a successful adoption. My parents own Sky at the moment and are older and just don’t have the time and energy Sky needs to thrive.
