My, foster Prince, Jethro James is ready to light up someone’s holiday season!

I have had the honor of fostering this precious baby for over two weeks & have fallen so deeply in love with him, I would absolutely love to keep him, but my circumstances allowed me only to foster for a period of time. 

The first vet says that he is now about 8 weeks old & although definitely a shepherd, only a $50 DNA test will show for sure if he’s mixed & with what. 

He’s definitely short haired, non-shedding & regal as I’ve ever seen. 

He shocks me daily by his ability to learn new commands and tricks. 

He’s already crate trained, leash trained, doggy door, and potty trained.  

He is playful without being destructive, doesn’t beg for food at meals, only barks when someone’s at the door or it’s time to potty, loves long walks, sitting outside by himself sometimes & has even mastered all levels of his adult dog puzzles.

Jethro is very gentle. A friend had 2 baby kitties and we went to visit her and he was interested but TERRIFIED! He is a sweet wittle baby in a bigger boy body (only 8 weeks).

He has lots of toys and games & chewies, but he has two tiny stuffed kitties we got at the pet store before bringing him home—& although he’s kind of a tough guy (or learning to play and retrieve and conquer his jumping toys) if you want to break his heart, then let him lose one of his babies! Tragic!! If one falls out of his kennel, he will puppy-whimper until you rescue & return them to him. 

He’ll chew on his little chew bones and chew toys, but he’ll NEVER chew on his babies & gets very traumatized when I have to wash them—it’s so cute!

So, he is great with cats & would love a doggy playmate too, I’m sure.

He has been traveling with us over Thanksgiving & travels great, is good in hotels and loves hiking and sleeping in. He also loves to watch tv with me. 

Because we’ve been traveling & bc we hate to see him go, I’ve not made him available to meet those who want to meet him. 

We’re back in Plano now and he’s available to meet prospective parents. It’s always quicker to catch me on text at 469-818-4408. :)

He is by far the sweetest, funniest, and smartest puppy I’ve ever known. 

He will be an absolute blessing to someone as he has me. :)

• Health: finished all medications and tick and flea free. 

Ideal Home:

Someone with experience with shepherd’s, has either a yard or likes to walk, and cuddle. 

He is a deep connector/bonded so please be a cuddler too. 

Only looking to recover fostering/vet expenses.
