Prada is a two-year-old American Pit Bull who loves playing with toys and staying active. He has been in my care for about a year and a month after being given to me by a friend. Because little is known about his early history, there are concerns that he may have experienced abuse or neglect as a puppy. Prada is affectionate, loyal, and loving. He enjoys kisses, belly rubs, cuddling, and playing fetch outdoors. He can be off leash for short periods about 10 minutes in a safe, appropriate area. He responds well to positive food reinforcement and is currently learning to jump for treats. He also enjoys daily walks and has a playful personality. Prada is partially potty trained. Prada is generally well-behaved but needs an experienced adopter who understands Pit Bulls and is comfortable with training and handling. He will do best with someone who has the time, patience, and commitment to help him continue learning and overcome the effects of his difficult past.
