Female black (tuxedo) cat turned a little over one year old this July 2026. We rescued this cat last summer. It was living under a rollout dumpster and was clearly abandoned as a kitty - possibly born to an abandoned cat. She has all of her shots, but needs to be spayed. (Have paperwork...)

She is litter trained and playful with her toys.

Entertaining to watch her as she has a lot of energy and is super fast.

She is a bit too rough with the older cats. Likely she should be a lone kitty, but she did get along with our dog (passed last month).

She is still very shy. She will walk from you if you try to pet her. However, you can pet her when she is woken from sleeping and she purrs. She will come sleep with you, but at your feet - on her terms. The veterinarian thinks she would calm down after being spayed and in a house with only one other pet or none.

Re-homing because of our own life expectancy - we are older and want this cat to have a good life. We have two much older cats that are staying with us and we will outlive them.

Needs a loving home. Comes with a new pet carrier, food bowls, and starter food (for transitioning). No rehoming fee - free to a good person. Only request is that you have a litter box ready and your own place.
