Description
Posted 01 Jan 2026Hello All,Long story short some people were giving Sadie away. They said she was a German Shepard mix and she was fixed, had her shots, and was chipped. They were going to take her to the pound if no one took her. They had adopted her for the autistic son; however, their son became agitated by her and would be self-injurious. I brought her home. She very intelligent and easy to train. She knows sit, wait (will sit and until you tell her Okay), "gentle" (when taking a cookie "treat"), crate trained, and potty trained. She is up to date with vaccines; however, I have not had her chipped nor fixed. It turns out she is Malinois mix. If you know anything about this breed they are extremely energetic, which would be fine, however, my elderly mother lives with me. She has knocked my mom down a few times, not on purpose. The last time she knocked my mom down she ended up with a huge egg on her head a bruised body. I'm afraid she will really hurt my mom. This is the reason for the search for a new forever home. I have two other dogs and she gets along well them. Both of my dogs are from the humane society. One is large and the other is small. She would be best in an active family with older children. We love her and want to make sure she goes to a good home. I forgot to mention she is about 8 months old. She is an indoor dog. She loves to be outside and loves to play fetch. She is spoiled.
