We purchased Kobe from a known breeder in Kansas. We adopted another dog from them 5 years ago. This time she had older puppies that were 6 to 9 months old rather than 8 weeks like we adopted before. When Kobe came to us he was not leash trained and fearful of everyone and everything. He did not get along well with my dog but mainly because I think my dog scared him. After a few weeks we made progress on leash training but he still fights it at times. He is very timid and fearful of people He cowers but never responds aggressively. He has been around my two girls and has never nipped at them. He just runs to a corner and stays there when people are around. When Noone is home he wanders the house and does not destroy anything. Since I have a larger family with active kids I feel like our home is not ideal for a nervous dog like Kobe. As sweet and cute as he is I feel he would do better in a calm quiet environment with owners with 1 adult home during the day to provide a routine.
