Description
Posted 24 Feb 2026Tater turns 1 on April 14th of 2026. He is honestly the sweetest, most patient puppy ever. He is playful, rambunctious, energetic (in a good way! He also loves to nap), and overall just the happiest guy. His mom was a Bernese mountain dog and dad was a poodle. His size is medium and will most likely not exceed 60 pounds. Last weight was 44 pounds at his vet appointment a couple of months ago.
He loves his fur brother so much, loves my kids and baby so much. He really is simply the best dog which is why it is so hard to find him a better fitting home.
We have a fence that has black bars and he somehow can wiggle through them. No matter what we do he finds a way to escape. He doesn’t always leave our property, but I can’t trust he is safe here while I am also dealing with a baby and 3 other children. It has become a bit of an inconvenience over the last several months.
We would hate for something to happen to him, but we also cannot keep trying to rig our fence and trying collars that just don’t seem to work for long. He would thrive in a home with a solid fence. He would be the best family pet for any family that wants a cuddly sweetheart. Honestly, this is so hard to do. We just want what’s best for everyone here.
We feed him purina proplan protein food, his health is perfect and he is totally up to date on shots, flea and tick medicine and heart worm medicine. We have taken such good care of him. We really love him, but unfortunately it has really tough to keep him in the backyard.
