We prefer natural tails, but we understand the breed standard is docked. Puppies received tail docking and dewclaw removal July 29th.
Puppies will be raised on grass potty pads, usually fully trained by the time they go home. They will have experience being in a kennel alone overnight, so they won't over react or whine a crazy amount if you ever need to kennel them when you bring them home. We do not name our puppies. We think breeders calling a puppy a certain name makes it confusing for the puppy when he goes to his forever home and gets called by the new name his new owner gives him. They will go on car rides so they get used to the motion and are less likely to get sick with their new owners (especially on pickup day when they go home and everything is changing for them, they will already be nervous adjusting to new sights and smells). All puppies are seen by my vet for exam, fecal test, and first set of puppy shots a day or so before we let buyers pickup.
